TLC Lotteries Limited Terms and Conditions

1. Membership and Payment Choices

Membership of the Lottery is open to anyone over the age of 18, resident in Great Britain and is limited to 10 entries per week; i.e. £10 per week. This includes staff and family members or anyone who is not directly involved with the arrangements for the weekly draw.

  • Each entry costs £1 per week payable in advance, all subscriptions received will be entered into the weekly draw using the unique lottery number.
  • Payment methods include DIRECT DEBIT, DEBIT CARD, or CHEQUE.
  • Members may choose to pay annually, every six months, quarterly or (by Direct Debit only) on a monthly basis. Monthly subscriptions of £4.34 include 34p which accumulates and funds the 13th week, which occurs every three months.
  • Where players have agreed to increase the subscription payment to include a donation, the following amounts will apply: (Keep the change)
    £4.34 to £5 per month, the remaining 66 pence will be donated to the charities.
    £13 to £15, the remaining £2 will be donated to the charities.
    £26 to £30, the remaining £4 will be donated to the charities.
    £52 to £60, the remaining £8 will be donated to the charities.
  • A unique, randomly selected Lottery Number will be issued when you become a member for each entry.

2. Prizes

As from 1st January 2022 our prize structure changed to the following 53 cash prizes drawn every week.

  • 1st: £1,000 *
  • 2nd: £150
  • 3rd: £50
  • 4th: 50 Prizes of £10

* Twice a year we increase the 1st prize from £1,000 to £2,500 in our Summer and Winter Super Draws. Additional entry tickets are available to purchase for these draws.

(Pre January 22 there were 163 cash prizes drawn each week. 1st: £1,000 *, 2nd: £100, 3rd: £50, 60 Prizes of £10, 100 Prizes of £5)

The total prize fund each week is therefore £1,700 with the exception of the two Super Draw weeks.

All prizes are guaranteed to be won every week. This is guaranteed, because only members who have paid in advance, and are therefore “in credit” and Single Tickets sold are included in the draw which takes place each Friday.

For each paid entry into the draw, a player has 53 chances each week of winning a prize. This equates to an approximate 0.53% chance per entry, based on 10,000 players entered in a weekly draw.

3. Administration

  • 1. Draws are carried out by StarVale Management & Technologies Ltd.
  • 2. £1 per ticket does not guarantee a prize.
  • 3. Winners notified by letter within 7 days.
  • 4. Cash prizes paid by cheque only.
  • 5a. You must keep your contact details up to date. Prizes must be claimed within 6 months.
  • 5b. Unclaimed prizes after 6 months become donations.
  • 6a. Cancellations after Wednesday 12:00 may not be actioned before the draw.
  • 6b. Credit continues unless refund is requested.
  • 7. Duplicate payments extend credit unless refund requested.
  • 8. Results published online and in Birmingham Mail.

  • 10. Data access available by written request.

6. The Gambling Act 2005
